Happy Monday, everyone! It is a GORGEOUS fall-like day here in PA. I am enjoying every moment of this weather, and I can’t help but get super excited about fall. We hope everyone had a great weekend – we did! Here is our weekend recap:
Friday: Q’doba for dinner – another attempt at spicy food (or as spicy as I can stand) to get this labor thing going. Result = no labor and a lot of indigestion. 😦
Saturday: Toasty during the day; rainy all night. We took it easy in the morning and headed to lunch at the 320 Market Cafe. After lunch, we hit up the local city-wide yard sales. It was much more popular than expected, and we learned we need to get started earlier if we want to “get the good stuff.” We enjoyed looking at all of the interesting things people were trying to sell, but it wasn’t long before we both were just too hot to keep going. I did pick up a couple of wine boxes to spruce up and use as photography props. Afterwards, we enjoyed a little college football before heading to Dave and Becca’s for some tasty pizza and good company. Kyle stayed up late to watch the Illini, but was sadly disappointed in their pathetic performance. The Boilers lost to Notre Dame too, so it was a sad day for college football in our house.
Sunday: Church, lunch, then FOOTBALL! We couldn’t help but be in a good mood with cooler weather and football to watch – especially with the Bears playing the Colts. I felt a little sad watching the Colts without my beloved P. Manning, but the Bears looked promising (after their first possession – yikes!). Kyle was in heaven watching his “little men” a.k.a. fantasy football players with our apparently free-for-now NFL Sunday Ticket? He did allow a football break for us to get outside and enjoy the weather at the Linvilla Orchard. We took a quick peak at Pumpkinland but decided to save a full visit for closer to Halloween. We did enjoy a bakery treat from the market and headed out to the orchard to pick some delicious apples and tomatoes. It was really fun!

Overall, it was a fun, relaxing weekend. Could it be our last as “just the two of us”? We shall see! 🙂
