12.17.11 – Things We’ve Learned: Part Deux

17 Dec

Well, we have spent another week in PA land, and we’ve learned a few more things along the way:

1. Plaster walls – not much fun to hang pictures on, but they sure are sturdy!

2. 4-way stop signs – don’t hesitate or you will lose your turn.

3. Changing roads – I know this is somewhat common in other cities, but almost every major road/intersection is one name to the left and another name to the right (BloNo folks – think GE/Vernon).

4. Curvy roads – Roads aren’t based on corn fields here.  They are winding, curvy roads, which can make for crazy intersections and some confusion for mid-westerners.

5. Ruby Tuesday – still alive and kicking out here!  There aren’t a lot of familiar chain restaurants around these parts, but that is one I have seen everywhere.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!  One week until Christmas!!!
